Edward Todd Hummer
President / OwnerTodd is responsible for assuring customer’s needs are met and ensuring that services promised are rendered by managing work flows and the sales process. Todd graduated from Cal State Los Angeles, with a B.S. degree in Marketing. He is licensed in California, Nevada and Arizona to sell property/casualty and life/health insurance. He has a LUTCF and CIC designation from the National Alliance of Insurance Education. Todd brings almost 20 years of insurance experience to H2. Vice PresidentShaylon Michele Hummer
Shaylon’s 1st job at 15 years old was working as a telemarketer for a Farmers Insurance District Manager. She learned from start to finish what it took to cultivate a client from an expiration date to a customer and quite often, a friend.
Shaylon was born and raised in CA. She graduated from Diamond Bar High in 1990. She worked for several Farmers agencies in high school and college. After graduation from Cal Poly Pomona in 1994 with a BS in Marketing, Shaylon decided to make insurance a career.
Shaylon is married to Todd and together they started H2 Insurance Services in 2000..
Shaylon is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
Away from work, Shaylon enjoys spending time with family. She loves watching sports, especially her favorite team of all, the Los Angeles Dodgers. She is active in her church, loves playing Mahjong and being outdoors with crazy red golden, Rookie.
Commercial Account ManagerKara Rayke
Kara leads the Commercial Department and has more than 12 years of experience here at H2 Insurance Services, Inc. She is known for her strong attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and dedication to resolving client issues promptly and effectively. Kara takes pride in providing outstanding customer service and fostering positive relationships with our clients.
Kara was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Cal Poly Pomona. Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and finding time to relax and recharge. She also enjoys reading and unwinding with a good Netflix series.
Commercial Account ManagerJoelyn Centeno
Joelyn has been with H2 Insurance Services, Inc. since 2017. Since joining H2 she has been committed to providing personalized service and building lasting relationships with her clients and agency partners. Joelyn specializes in Personal Lines insurance and provides assistance within the commercial lines Department with the day-to-day needs of the clients and team. Joelyn is committed to understanding each client’s unique needs, providing knowledgeable guidance, and delivering prompt, reliable communication.
She is patient, diligent and provides exceptional service. Outside of work Joelyn's greatest joy is spending time with her family. She has four children and four grandchildren. Joelyn has a deep appreciation for God, family, and the outdoors. She loves to hike, horseback ride, snow/water ski, bike ride, gardening and the beach. Accounting / BookkeepingSue Marsilio
Sue is a veteran at H2 insurance with 26 years of faithful, dedicated service to the agency. Sue started her professional career in the banking industry in 1979. In 1990, she moved over to Farmers Insurance and worked primarily in personal lines. H2 hired Sue in 1996 and she quickly moved into an Accounting/HR role. Sue brings many years of experience in payroll services, office administration, and computer tech. Her most outstanding job qualities are her diligence to resolving technical problems and being totally trustworthy. Her attention to detail and keeping the agency in compliance is valued by all. Sue is the backbone of all operations of the agency. She is always willing to step in and help in any way possible.
Sue was born and raised in CA. Sue values family most of all which means spending time with her kids and 9 grandchildren.
Personal Lines Sales / Customer ServiceMerrick Hummer
As the youngest employee of H2 Insurance, Merrick is ready to dive in, learn and help. He loves people and makes conversation with anyone and everywhere he goes.
He began his career with H2 in 2017, working part time while in college. Merrick was very active in baseball from 6 years old. In 2019, Merrick was part of the Orange Coast College baseball team under the direction of the late Coach John “Alto” Altobelli. It was an awesome experience and friendships were made for a lifetime.
Merrick is happy to be part of such a great team of professionals who are so dedicated to the customers they serve. He hopes to provide the best customer service he can while creating meaningful relationships with clients. Merrick’s main role is in sales of personal lines policies. Outside of work, you can find Merrick fishing, golfing or watching any sport.

Brie is new to the insurance industry, joining H2 in July 2026, but brings more than 10 years of customer service experience. She loves helping people and is known for her bubbly personality and positive attitude. Being part of a supportive team has made H2 more than just a workplace—it's somewhere she genuinely enjoys coming to each day.
As a wife and mother of two, Brie has mastered the art of being patient while staying organized and efficient. After graduating from high school, she attended Chemeketa Community College and plans to return to finish her degree. She is excited to continue growing both personally and professionally while providing exceptional service to her clients.
